French Fried Onion Crusted Chicken

We eat a lot of chicken. It’s pretty versatile and easy to fix. Plus, we have about 60 of them in the freezer from last year, so…yeah. We eat a lot.

This is a recipe Dee found somewhere, (I have no idea where, so if it’s yours, let me know!) that almost everyone loves. Mom isn’t to fond of it, but I just fix her one without all the stuff on it and she’s happy (if not, she doesn’t say anything). And it’s easy, which is a bonus in this house!

4-5 Chicken Breasts, pounded to about 1/2″ thickness. (Sometimes I skip the pounding step, depending on time)

1 container of French’s French Fried Onions

A couple of Tbls of Flour

Preheat oven to 350*. Coat a pizza pan in non stick spray.

Pour the container of Fried Onions into a gallon size Ziploc bag and add the flour. Close and either roll out with a rolling pin or beat on the counter until all the onions are in small pieces. Place chicken, one piece at a time in bag and shake until coated. Place on pizza pan without touching.

Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
