Okay, Mother Nature. I am tired of winter. First, it’s 60* and sunny but now, it’s about 6* and cloudy. Last week it was kind of snowy, today you are bringing us ice, and sleet and snow. Come on, now. I’m ready for spring. I’m ready to see the green grass (I dreamed of you last night, grass. That’s bad.) and let the animals roam outside. Less hay to feed, more warmth, thunderstorms. Yeah, I am so ready for spring.
I’m pretty sure the goats are as well. They damn near mob me when I’m trying to feed them, and they complain the rest of the day. Isabelle has decided she doesn’t want Zoe and Charlie in her pen, so she chased them enough that I moved them back into the other pen.
I finally went back to work, so I have a few less hours to get things done here, but I can’t really complain. I am not made to stay at home. I have to get out of the house for a while, so the few hours that I work during the week keeps me from going crazier than I am.
I suppose I should go do something. I have a list a mile long (okay, okay, it just feels that way). Stay warm!
