Good Morning! I’m almost finished with the boys’ enclosure, I just need a gate. Then, we can move the billy’s over to their new pen.
Dill is now 3 weeks old. He’s running around trying to mount everything in sight. It’s not going to be too soon to get that pen done, so we can get him moved as soon as Charlie weans him. We missed the time period to get him disbudded, so he’s going to have horns. I’m kind of mad at myself for that, but I was just so down with these stupid migraines. Danny’s hours are all over the place and by the time that we had time to get him in, it was too late.
Not this time, I am calling Monday to set up an appointment with the vet to get it done on the new baby. I don’t have any of the equipment needed to do it, nor do I know how(all my goats before were horned). I really don’t want to take a chance on messing it up and injuring him.
Speaking of the new kid……
We have this gorgeous new little baby goat. He’s just the right colors, he’s sweet as could be….but, we have a problem. He doesn’t have a name! So, Danny and I thought we would have a naming contest.
It’s easy. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post with the name you choose (No food names, and nothing that is too offensive for the kids to say) That’s it! I’m going to make Danny put the names in to a hat (probably his favorite Batman one) and we will pull the name in a video we will post to YouTube and Facebook.
You only get one entry. Anything over that will not be entered into the drawing. Anything offensive will also not be entered and the comment will be deleted.
You have to be 18 and a legal resident of the US.
No purchase necessary to enter or win
This contest is in no way sponsored or endorsed by WordPress, Facebook or any other social media and is only run by Renegade Hollow.
The contest runs for one week. From today to next Saturday at noon (central time)
Prizes are non transferable. May not be exchanged for cash value.
Winner will be announced on the blog on Saturday, March 12th.
So, all these rules and stuff, but what’s the prize?
A year (6 issues) subscription to Grit magazine. Grit has been around 130 years, and I have learned a lot of stuff from this magazine. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it.
So, share this post, get some more people involved! Leave your name pick. Make it a good one! And have fun with it! The weirder the better. 😉
It’s a value of $14.95.
